Before you buy
Can I try before I buy?
Yes. Download SQL Delta and you get the full product in trial mode for 14 days.
When you are ready, buy a license and we will email a registration code to remove the trial restriction.
What is included in a purchase?
Your purchase includes a perpetual software license and a 2 year Software Update Subscription.
We email one registration code for each purchase to the registered user you nominate.
Can I pay by invoice?
Yes. Send us the product, license quantity, and the registered user's name and email address and we will issue an invoice.
Once payment is received we will send the registration code.
Do you ship physical software?
No. SQL Delta and SQL DXP are provided electronically.
Payment and receipts
Who processes my card payment?
Stripe securely processes card payments for SQL Delta and SQL DXP.
Why does my statement say AUST SOFT?
Your credit card statement will normally show SQL DELTA by AUST SOFT or SQL DXP by AUST SOFT, depending on the product you purchased.
AUST SOFT is us, The Australian Software Company, the maker of SQL Delta and SQL DXP.
Where is my receipt?
When you pay by credit card we send a receipt to your billing email address.
If it has not arrived, email us and we will resend it.
I had a problem with my payment
Email us and we will investigate the Stripe payment on your behalf. It helps if you can provide the date and time, card type and the last few digits of the card number.
We do not see any full credit card information as part of the transaction.
Why am I charged GST/VAT?
For credit card purchases, GST is added for Australian billing addresses.
If you need tax clarification for your billing location before purchasing, or if you would prefer an invoice, email us and we will help.
After purchase
What happens after I buy?
We email the registration code to the registered user so it can be used to unlock the trial and activate the licensed copy.
The full product and the trial are the same download, so you do not need a separate installer after purchase.
I just bought a license and need more users
No problem. If the change is within 30 days of purchase you pay only the difference between what you paid and the new quantity total.
For older purchases we calculate a proportional increase based on time since purchase.
Renewals and licensing
How long is the Software Update Subscription?
A new purchase includes 2 years of software updates.
Can I buy a 1 year subscription?
No. We currently only offer the 2 year subscription term.
How do I renew my Software Update Subscription?
Log into https://support.sqldelta.com/portal and your subscription details will be shown. From there you can extend the subscription.
What is a Site License?
A site license covers users who work from a specific licensed site, such as a single office.
Users based at another site are not covered by that site's license.
